Canon 50mm Lens - The Lens Multitasking Amateurs And Professionals
It's official, 50mm Canon lens not withstand rough handling by trying to bounce off the concrete four feet above the ground. But every photographer needs a Canon 50mm lens. Read the full story.
If a lens of each photographer needs is a Canon 50mm. There were two different gear in my bag, and now it's time for a new one.
My research is complete (hopefully), and convincing. You can bounce the CONR 50mm Canon lens and wait to do well later.
I hope I did not tell the emotional story here.
The first goal was a 50mm Canon f/1.8 model. The lens may be the best value on the planet consider such a wide opening of only a hundred Smackers. He has a great reputation for quality, despite its plastic construction. I had planned to take good care of her, so that the plastic was not a concern for me.What happened could have happened to anyone. In fact, I read a similar incident a few days before my accident. I just took my camera case and threw it over my shoulder. Except that I forgot to zip closed. My goal precious went flying, landed on the concrete promenade. What a sad day.
I had to do something to make my world back in perspective, of course, so I bought another lens. But this time, I updated the Canon 50mm f/1.4. I paid over $ 350, the lens of fresh water. And it was worth every penny. Part of the reason to buy a better model was a better lens. The plastic lens was broken, so I thought that the metal casing f/1.4 model would give better result if another accident.
All went well for a while. But then it happened. Another fatal accident.
This time, the incident was not the same as the first, but the results were equally devastating. I took my camera (50 mm lens), and the belt camera attached to something, pulling the camera out of my hand. It hit the concrete floor garage. It 'was deja vu, because I played the first accident in my head. But then I noticed that there are no broken parts, and without bruises everywhere. I breathed a sigh of relief. This is just trying to use the camera to take a picture. Then I noticed the lens was not working anymore. Something happened to focus on the mechanism of the lens, and does not work. It does not even manual focus. I'm still in mourning.
Despite my pain, I feel compelled to comment on the kindness of Canon lenses of 50 mm.
My experience with the lens Canon 50 mm f/1.4 made a believer out of me. It is a tool of great pictures. Since I have not used the f/1.2 model, I can not comment, but it's a great goal that will satisfy either an enthusiastic amateur or a professional photographer.
One of the virtues of a very wide f/1.4 aperture. Can be used in very challenging lighting conditions to give excellent images. I used it at concerts, where flash use is prohibited spectacular.
Yet another advantage of this lens is portraits. Bokeh is awesome. Although not a portrait lens of choice for professional shooters, is a really nice job.
Then a couple of weeks ago, I was in school basketball game, and my friend took action shots with the f/1.4 lens. He said it was much better than the 70-200mm telephoto lens for two reasons. First of all, a very large hole was a complete gym setup in difficult lighting. Secondly, he was shooting a floor of a gym, and 70-200mm Canon lens was too long to capture all the action. I had to keep the lens sports f/1.4 lens, but in that situation, it was a perfect match.
Therefore, the change must take place. But my wife did not buy the premise that "Every photographer has a 50 mm lens." So I play my cards right, when I try to win was transferred with the idea of ??re-acquisition of the lens.
