One of your marketing assets is your most important keyword list. But are you giving your Keyword List the attention it deserves? Is your keyword list to get a bit wrinkled around the edges? Your tags become old and outdated? Is your list of keywords is not behaving at its best, possibly because of neglect?
To care for your keyword list, you must understand the different needs and functions. We can divide the list into several broad categories.1. Master keywords list - this list is all the keywords you can come up with to suit your needs. All other lists are taken from this Master List.
2. Pay-Per-Click List - this is a subset of the master list and will vary depending on how you use PPC search engines and you buy positions in.
3. Tag List - the subset of the main list, you can fill in the Meta tag. Although many search engines are currently not paying much attention to Meta Tags, this could change at any time and search engines do not allow us to know if or when they start looking for new Meta Tags. Thus, the safe bet is to always keep the tags properly populated.
4. List Web Site - this is another subset of the Master List, and is more targeted than PPC list. This list also allows you to write powerful content on your website. And do not forget to refer to this list in the creation of the ALT tags for images (using the Alt-code is not it?).
5. Mailing List - Are you using your keywords in your inbox? You should be. The key words are not only used to help people find your site in search engines, but they are words people are actively looking. The marketing should be to meet their needs, and your list of keywords to show what they are looking for. Just like to make a copy of a Web page, use the list of keywords to target your email campaigns.
So how do you create a list of main keywords? You must first decide what you need for your keywords. Chances are you have a product or service delivery of the broad category of the list. As an example I will use the Nikon camera as a starting point. Maybe have a site that specializes in information about Nikon and I have a shop selling Nikon cameras, or perhaps selling software to complement a Nikon camera. These and other questions begin to focus your search by keyword.
Start by building a basic list using this approach, it is necessary to exploit, to leave all small.
Nikon, Nikon, Nikon, data, sales of Nikon, Nikon Software
Falling Spring's main keywords in mind when it comes to target. This does not need to be an exhaustive list, just a starting point.
We must now extend this list by using tools freely available on the Internet. They have a valuable tool called the small Keyword Tool Selector. This tool will give you a list of keyword searches on Overture for a period of a month. Simply enter your keyword and press the button. You will get a list of keywords, including keyword typed and the number of searches on the keyword.
A search for "Nikon" returned with 100 potential keywords. Depending on your initial keywords, you may have to clean this list a bit before using. For example, one of the key words were "Nikon scopes," not what I need, I will delete. I usually copy the information on this site and paste it into a Excel spreadsheet where I can handle it as I want. Each month, you get a different set of keywords on Overture, so do not just do once and forget it. Return to add more keywords to your list.
Another useful tool is Google. (Https: / / adwords.google.com / select / main KeywordSandbox Cmd =) You can also find this tool in the Tools section of Google Adwords. It is used as the tool Overture, you simply type in your keywords and click View more keywords. This research gave me 225 possible keywords, many of which I will clean it. A good feature of the tool is that AdWords allows you to download the list to a CSV file for use in Excel or another program.
There are many sources for lists of keywords. They have a program called banner advertising keywords on eBay where you can find suggestions of keywords for use with banner ads on eBay. You will get a list of research that people use to find your site. This is a list of highly targeted keywords that were actually able to drive traffic to your website.
Now you have a huge list of keywords you are ready to create a master list of keywords. Put all of these keywords in a spreadsheet, and clean up inappropriate keywords (like "Nikon Binoculars"). Then the order of the most important to least important.
Need grass down to the home page of your PPC campaign. You may notice that the keywords at the top of the list is the most expensive and which are in the middle can be a better cost-to-sales ratio. But the keywords you can use the PPC, with wider exposure.
Top 25 list works well in your meta tags. Depending on your needs may be necessary to remove duplicate words. Try to limit the use of a single word of five or less (for example, do not use "Nikon" with more than 5 times).
10 Keywords are the words of your website sales and e-mail campaigns because they are the keywords more heavily concentrated in the list.
Do not forget that the needs of your list will change the market trends. Every month or two to make a new search by keyword to keep your list of keywords updated. Cut the words that is no longer appropriate or effective. Be sure to keep an eye on your logs. Keep your energy sub-lists. And give your list of keywords with the care and attention they need to live a long and active life.
And finally, if there are only four people buy a place out of my training because of keywords in this article, I can finally the Nikon that I missed.
