They have not done with the pomp and style of Canon and Nikon, but their quality and performance equal to or better in some models.
My passion for the Panasonic Lumix ZS7 is based on personal experience. You see, I recently bought one for my own use. I was a long time digital SLR owner, and I maintain that they are better than point and shoot cameras with respect to image quality, but it is not a subject of discussion. Almost everyone will admit it's true. The mere fact that the sensor size of an SLR is much larger than a compact camera, and this fact alone makes it almost impossible for a compact outperform a digital SLR.
I felt the need to explain that because many of my articles on digital SLR cameras. So now that we are a direct consequence of a small object, we can discuss the Panasonic Lumix ZS7.
The number one reason that makes this camera special is the ease of use. Idea of ??"point and shoot" camera is that you want something easy to use. Your idea of ??taking a picture does not include choosing the best settings and messing with the games and buttons. This little Panasonic fill the bill.
The other thing that makes ZS7 a consumer device is the image quality. As already mentioned, the quality is not the same as that of a digital SLR, but it is considered excellent by many experts whose job is to evaluate such things. In fact, engineers are discovering new ways to improve the image quality with each release. The ZS7 is ahead of the pack. This is an area where I am very critical, and this Panasonic has surprised me with almost every photo I took. Image quality is much better than I expected. If you take your pictures in high resolution you can make prints as large as 16 by 22 inches. And if you choose the right printer, you can get blown fresco.
The third reason to buy something called the Intelligent Car. I absolutely love this feature. Intelligent Auto is really smart. And 'as if the camera is in the brain. The camera automatically selects the correct settings for you, including ISO, shutter speed, and everything else to make out the picture perfect (almost always). How do I know which is the image of the camera compared to the landscape, I have no idea, and I do not care. E 'to say the least ... Well, the magic. Gets the proper lighting at night. Intelligent Auto is not just a machine, which is really nice, too. You can remove the flash, but the camera's Intelligent Auto mode. "No Flash" really gives natural light. Did I mention that I love this feature?
The fourth is the super zoom. By Super Zoom, are we talking about a 12x zoom ratio. This is equivalent to 25mm - 300mm. I did a little test in the snow to see how it works in terms of image quality at 300 mm. Standing in the same place, I took two photos. The first was at 25mm wide angle, and the second was the same object zoomed all the way to 300 mm (12x). To my surprise, they were both very good. I also took the same photo with my Canon digital SLR and I was always impressed. While the pictures with the Canon was a little better, I was quite pleased with the performance of Panasonic. The quality of the lens can not be challenged because it is manufactured by Leica, a manufacturer of lenses greatly appreciated.
Fifth and finally, price. My reasons for purchase included finding a great device that was small enough to carry anywhere without having to take my camera bag with all my gadgets and widgets device. ZS7 I can wear anywhere and everywhere in a pocket. The price was only about $ 250. I think it is very reasonable for what I got for this camera.
