DTV DVB-T Or ATSC: The World Is Really Ready For

DTV DVB-T Or ATSC: The World Is Really Ready For The Digital TV Transition?

The world is undergoing a transition to digital television, but at the same speed with what's going on? It begins to look like everyone else does not know what to buy.
Gil Scott Heron famously said that the revolution will not be Televised funny at the time that the world of television is a revolution, and if nothing is done to inform people about what digital television is reality, so there will be a group of people without any TV signal at all.
What is worse, the e-commerce business, wholesale electronics suppliers BtoB, and buyers on eBay are likely to be those of being caught in the crossfire.
It 'true that the world is in the midst of the transition to digital television. Carriers are gradually shifting from analogue to digital. VHF-UHF television signals, DVB-T, ATSC, ISDB-T and DMB.
Scandinavia and northern Europe began the transition to DTT in 2003, which ended in 2007.The United States has begun the transition to ATSC NTSC in 2007 and is expected to be completed in February 2009.
Most of the earliest adopters began to implement DTV to change between 2007 and 2009. They are supposed to completely cut off analog broadcasts in 2012.
But the average Joe and Josephine ready for the digital switchover?
Retailers and monitors research trends are beginning to think that this is not the case.
The good news is that some people have come round by digitization and for the most part, have stopped asking "what is digital television."
But it is still worrying lack of understanding about the standards used in different countries.
DTV standards are not the same in all countries, with about four digital broadcasting standards are used.
Much of the world (the whole of Europe, most of Asia, much of Oceania, Africa as a whole and sections of South America) has been reduced or chosen to go down the road. This includes DVB DVB-T digital terrestrial television, DVB-S for satellite and DVB-H mobile TV (though many TV series and mobile signals are working on the DVB-T).
The United States, Canada, Mexico, South Korea and the territories under U.S. control Pacific islands will ensure ATSC.
China, Hong Kong and Macao use DMB-T / H and ISDB Japan and Brazil. Japan uses the ISDB-T version, while Brazil uses the SBTVD-T version, which was developed for land in South America and conditions.
It is not surprising that people are so confused.
Global online retailers, eBay traders, Chinese wholesale electronic manufacturers and wholesale suppliers of electronic products BtoB say it is common for customers to order the item. Bad It did not matter if it were a digital TV tuner, TV tuner USB, TV tuner car or a portable device for digital television receivers results were the same.
In fact, a representative of the Internet wholesaler of China originally said that the confusion on the DVB-T and DVB-T alone had led to problems for customers and company. This was even before the least used ISDB-T and DMB came in.
So basically the e-commerce network operators face a serious problem in digital DTV bricks that operators do not even have to deal with ... that is, until they start stuff from outside supply.
So what steps do we take from here and what you can do to prevent operators from e-commerce customer complaints and comments wrong?
One thing you could do is put a notice on the bottom of all products to inform customers where they work.
Although this will not stop anyone buying a gadget that is set to the wrong standard work in most cases and to ensure an additional level of compensation when they go to complain.
So, for example, if you're trying to sell the ATSC tuner, you can put "in the United States, Canada and Mexico," at the bottom of the description of the course, you can put "does not work in the United States and Canada at the bottom of the description DVB-T USB.
Thus, retailers must be able to sell most types of digital teleconverter, a mobile TV tuner and digital TV is a product without too much difficulty.
So is the global community is ready for digital TV? Probably not.
But if e-commerce operators to prepare, they can avoid falling into a confusion between the various DTV standards.
